Started at Galway Game Jam 10
For Father's Day, my son Michael flew here to Ireland and surprised me. We had a great week that led up to the Galway Game Jam 10.
Michael and I attended during the weekend of June 16, 2018 for a 24-hour game jam. It was split into two 12-hour segments. The theme was EXTINCTION.
The first 12 hours was a ton of setup. We decided to make a very light rogue-like action game. We decided to place the environment underground and called it CRYPT. We got a LOT done the first day.
The second day was great up until the final 2.5 hours where we had a killer bug that stopped all progress. At the end of the game jam the bug was fixed, and there was *almost* some gameplay. It's very close.
We will continue to work on it and post updates.
